My Requirements

We are looking for an after-school carer for our son, who has special needs. He is generally easy to look after but is still in nappies and needs support with personal care. He is 15 but the size of an 8 or 9 year old, and is tube-fed, so we'd like his carer to administer one feed per session — we will show them how this is done. He is verbal to the point of being able to make himself understood, and enjoys reading and singing.

We are looking for someone available from 4–6/6:30pm, Monday to Thursday during term time, though this is negotiable. We would also like support during school holidays — the hours and days are likely to vary, but we are flexible and happy to negotiate. If possible, we'd also welcome occasional ad-hoc cover in the evenings and at weekends.

We live in SE23, near Honor Oak Park station. Bus routes P4, 122, 171, 172, and 185 all stop within a short walk of our home.
