My Experience

Alongside raising my five children, I have worked as a teaching assistant in a primary school where I supported teachers in the classroom and worked closely with pupils in small groups and one-to-one. My role involved helping children with reading, writing, and maths, supporting emotional development, and encouraging positive behaviour.
I have experience working with children with different learning needs and personalities, and I understand how important patience and encouragement are for helping children build confidence. I am comfortable helping with homework, school runs, preparing simple meals, organising activities, and maintaining routines. Being both a parent and school staff member has given me a strong understanding of children's development and daily needs.

My Qualifications

While I may not have formal academic qualifications myself, I have always valued education and worked hard to support my own children to achieve their goals. Three of my children have gone on to receive university degrees, including one with a first-class degree and another who graduated from Cambridge. This experience has given me a strong understanding of how to encourage, support, and motivate children as they grow.

My Availability

I am available during weekdays and can be flexible depending on the family's needs. I am happy to help with school pick-ups, after-school care, homework support, and evening routines. I can also discuss occasional weekend or evening babysitting if needed.
I am reliable, organised, and understand the importance of being punctual and consistent for children and parents.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My fees are £13-£15 per hour depending on the number of children. I am happy to discuss rates with families
