Hi! I am a friendly, caring and reliable person with a background in health and care. I hold a Diploma in Health Studies and have experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, where I developed strong skills in providing safe, attentive and compassionate care.
I enjoy supporting children and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable, safe and happy. I am patient, responsible and understand the importance of building trust with both children and parents.
I also volunteer within my church community, where I help support activities involving children and families. This has helped me develop confidence engaging with children and creating a supportive and welcoming environment.
My Experience
I previously worked as a Healthcare Assistant, where I gained valuable experience supporting individuals with their daily needs such as personal care, assisted meals ect . This role required patience, responsibility and strong communication skills. While this experience involved caring for adults, many of the skills I developed are transferable to childcare, including attentiveness, safety awareness and providing supportive care.
Through volunteering at my church and helping within community activities, I have also had opportunities to engage with children in group settings. This includes helping with activities, interacting with children and ensuring they feel supported and included.
I am happy to assist with:
