Babysitter / Grandma’s Helper Needed – Permanent Part-Time Position (Surbiton KT5)

We are a friendly LGBTQ family looking for a caring, reliable and experienced babysitter / Grandma’s helper to help care for our happy one-year-old daughter.

Job Details

* Start date: 1 December 2026
* Location: Surbiton, KT5
* Hours: 10:00am–4:00pm
* Days: 2-3 weekdays per week (days can be discussed)
* Rate: depends on suitability

Responsibilities

* Providing attentive and loving care
* Feeding and preparing simple meals/snacks
* Washing and sterilising bottles
* Planning age-appropriate play and activities
* Supporting naps and daily routines
* Tidying up after baby-related activities and other general mother’s helper duties

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

* Warm, patient and trustworthy
* Experienced with babies or toddlers
* Able to provide references (DBS preferred)
* Living locally or within easy travelling distance of Surbiton (KT5)

Being able to speak Mandarin or Italian or Spanish would be a lovely bonus, but it is not essential.

We’re hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term position and would enjoy becoming a valued part of our family’s routine.
