About Me
Hi everyone, My name is Shabnoor, I live with my husband and my son in Chorley. We have 1 very friendly cat called Coco. At Bloom & Grow Childminding, I provide a safe, caring, and home-from-home environment where children can learn, play, and grow with confidence.
I am a registered childminder with Tiney, and I hold up-to-date First Aid and Safeguarding training. I care for children aged 9 months-8 years, offering a nurturing and supportive setting tailored to each child’s individual needs. My approach is play-based, with a good balance of routine and structure. I plan a variety of fun and engaging activities, including outdoor play, to support children’s development, creativity, and independence.
I provide healthy, home-prepared meals and promote positive habits in a warm and welcoming environment. As a parent to a two-year-old, I understand the importance of trust, communication, and quality care.
My aim is to create a happy, safe, and fun space.
My Experience
While this is my first professional childminding role, I have valuable hands-on experience caring for young children as a parent to my two-year-old son.
Through this, I have developed a strong understanding of children’s needs, including routines, behaviour, play, and early development.
I have completed relevant training, including Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, and Tiney childminding certification, which has prepared me to provide safe, high-quality care.
I regularly plan play-based activities, encourage outdoor learning, and support children’s development in a nurturing, home-from-home environment.
I am passionate about providing a safe, fun, and supportive space where children can thrive.
My Qualifications
I am a Registered childminder , I have been DBS cleared and also Paediatric First Aid Qualification as well as training to work with Anaphylaxis, safeguarding, allergy awareness, speech and language in early ears, managing behaviour in early ears, quality provision for 2’s and under, 121 support for special educational learning needs and documenting and tracking a child development.
My Availability
I work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. I can be open earlier or later for an additional cost. I am available all year, with 6 weeks of holidays taken at different times during the year. All dates will be shared with parents in advance. I also offer funding hours.
My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Hourly Rate
£6.50 per hour
- Full Day (7:30am – 5:30pm)
£65 per day
- Half Day Options
• Morning (7:30am – 12:30pm): £32.50
• Afternoon (12:30pm – 5:30pm): £32.50

- Additional Costs:
• Meal Option (Optional):
• Home-cooked meals available: £5 per day
(Includes 2 main meals and 2 healthy snacks)
• Alternatively, parents may provide their child’s meals
• Daily activity fee: £1 (for crafts, learning materials, sensory play)
• Special outings: £5 per day (e.g. play centres– discussed in advance)
