My Experience

I have many years experience, from working with in a nursery and a teaching assistant with KS3 children and working in a playcenter, running play groups, creating activities to keep young minds engaged and encouraging their growth in milestones and adapting activies to be all inclusive. I started babysitting for family members, when I was around 15 years old. Over the years, I have provided babysitting services for neighbours, friends and local families, caring for children of all ages, from newborn through to teenagers.
Through this experience I have developed strong skills in creating a safe, caring and supportive enviroment where children feel comfortable and well looked after. I am confident in supporting children's daily routines, including feeding, playtime and helping older children with their homework.
I also have experience supporting children with Special Educational needs. I also have children with SEN, which has given me personal experience in understanding different behaviours, routines, communication styles and patience and care required to support children with additional needs.
My experience has helped me develop a calm, understanding and nurturing approach, to ensure every child feels supported, included and safe whilst in my care.

My Qualifications

•DBS checked
•Knowledge and understanding of Early Years Foundation stage (EYFS)
•Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience
• Experience supporting children with Allergies and Anaphylaxis
•EpiPen trained and confident in responding to allergic reactions if needed
•Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety Knowledge
•Allergy aware- We are a Nut and Peanut free home
•Insured whilst providing babysitting services
•Full UK Driving licence
•Full comprehensive cover including business use- allowing me to safely carryout school drop offs and pick ups when required.

My Availability

I offer a flexible schedule on a ad-hoc basis. This is to support families who need occasional or short notice care. My availability can include morning care with school drop offs, school pick ups, afterschool care, evenings, weekends and school holiday depending on arrangements.
As I provide flexible babysitting in my home rather than full time childcare. I am happy to discuss individual family needs and work around schedules where possible. My services are ideal for parents who may need occasional childcare, last minute support or help outside of regular childcare hours.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £9.00 per hour

I charge £9 per hour, this includes snacks, meals and drinks.
Afterschool- 2 ½ hours =£24
School pick ups/drop offs=£6
Day standard charge (7+ hours)=£58
Hours can be amended to suit individual needs.
