My Experience

I have over 30 years’ teaching experience supporting children across EYFS and primary, including many years as an Intervention Teacher and SENCo. I’ve worked closely with learners who need extra time, care, and confidence building, helping them feel secure and capable as they grow. My experience includes supporting reading, phonics, writing, maths foundations, SATs preparation, and emotional reassurance, as well as teaching children who are learning English as an additional language through clear, gentle, language rich activities. I always use fun, engaging learning experiences that help children feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress.

My Qualifications

I hold a BEd (Hons) in Primary Education and have additional TESOL training, enabling me to support children who are developing English as an additional language with clarity and care. I am fully trained in safeguarding and hold an enhanced DBS, along with up to date paediatric first aid certification. My qualifications reflect my commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child’s wellbeing, confidence, and individual learning needs are supported.

My Availability

I offer both daytime and after school sessions to suit different family routines, including dedicated daytime spaces for Home Educated children who benefit from calm, structured learning during school hours. Sessions are available as small groups or 1:1, giving each child the support and reassurance they need at a pace that feels right for them.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £15.00 per hour

Families are welcome to contact me to discuss the best type of support for their child, as fees depend on the session chosen. Group sessions start from £15, and I’m always happy to talk through options and find the right fit for your child’s needs
