About Us

Warm, friendly term time only Pre-School located in Stoke Poges in the District of Chiltern and South Buckinghamshire, that welcomes all families and all children from the age of 2 until they move onto school.

Our pre-school has been established in the Village Hall in the heart of Stoke Poges for 50 years. We are close to the local shops and within four hundred yards of The Stoke Poges School. The main aim of our pre-school is to provide a safe, secure, stimulating and, most importantly, happy environment where children can mature, socialise, gain independence and be helped to meet their full potential under the guidance of our practitioners. Through our indoor and outdoor environments, children learn to share, to help each other and to tackle problems together and alone. We have a wide experience of children with special educational needs and disabilities and work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunities for all children and families. We encourage parent involvement at all stages and provide extra support where needed through our trained staff and outside specialist services.

We have good links with The Stoke Poges school where a large majority of our children move onto after leaving Sunshine. We also have good links with other schools in the local area.

We are OFSTED registered

Every Thursday during term time from 9:15am to 11:30am we run a very friendly and welcoming drop in parent, baby and toddler group in the main hall. £2.50 entrance fee with refreshments and biscuits provided.
