About Me
We are a loving family looking for dedicated support for our son, Enzo. He is a very energetic and curious boy who loves playing with animal miniatures and being outdoors. Enzo has some global developmental delays, particularly in speech and communication, and is currently undergoing assessment with Community Paediatrics. He requires a patient, firm, but caring approach to help him navigate his daily routines and emotions
My Requirements
We require a caregiver with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioral management. Key requirements include:
1:1 Supervision: Continuous monitoring is vital due to a lack of danger awareness and pica behavior (attempting to eat non-food items like stones/leaves).
Behavioral Support: Experience managing unpredictable physical outbursts (throwing objects, hitting/kicking) and using distraction or grounding techniques.
Sensory Needs: Understanding of sensory overload; use of ear defenders and chew toys.
Communication: Supporting language development through simple 2-3 word phrases and visual cues.
Personal Care: Full support with nappies and managing a restricted 'beige' diet.
We need someone proactive who can keep Enzo safe while encouraging his development
