Childminder in Bristol
My Summary
About Me
Hello and welcome to ‘Little Wild Things’ – where a warm, nurturing environment awaits your child. Every child is unique and deserves to grow in an environment that encourages their voice, celebrates their individuality and inspires them to thrive…..and that is exactly what ‘Little Wild Things’ provides.
My name is Adam and I have recently become an Ofsted registered childminder. I run my childminding business from my home in the friendly community of Montpelier, BS6. I live with my wife Vic, our eight year old son Walter and our six year old daughter Mabel.
‘Little Wild Things’ care for children aged 0 to 5 years in a stimulating home from home environment, where every child is supported to grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity. As a father and a childminder your child will be treated with the same care, respect and affection as my own children.
I am excited to incorporate a play-based curriculum which aims to ensure children are making excellent progress towards their statutory Early Learning Goals. By learning and developing through play, I will ignite yours child’s curiosity and enthusiasm and provide the foundation for future cognitive, physical, emotional and social development.
Outdoor play and exploring nature will be an important daily activity.
We will always play both outside and inside, and provide a wide range of experiences for your child. From reading, dancing, singing, cooking or arts and crafts to weekly trips to our local city farm, numerous play parks and our recently acquired allotment.
I have a strong passion for making and cooking home-made healthy food which will be provided daily for your child. I hold a valid ‘Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene’ certificate as well as a ‘Food Allergy and Intolerance Training’ certificate.
As your chosen childminder I will have clear and insightful communication with you and my aim is for your child to leave my setting feeling like they are succeeding in life, have a high level of self-esteem, be independent and school ready.
I look forward to hearing from you.
