My Experience

“When I was studying in 10th grade, my little sister was born. I remember the days when I took care of her, and now in 2026 she has turned four years old. After my mother gave birth to my little sister, I was the one who mainly took care of her because I was the oldest among my siblings. I remember feeding her, helping her sleep, and looking after her every day. I also remember the nights when she fell sick and cried at midnight, and I was the one who stayed with her and took care of her because my mother was tired and needed rest. Whenever my mother was sick or exhausted, I also helped take care of my other siblings and supported them with their daily needs.”

My Qualifications

My qualifications for a childcare job include my personal experience caring for my younger siblings, especially my little sister since she was born. As the oldest sibling, I have helped with feeding, comforting her when she was sick or crying, helping her sleep, and making sure she was safe. I have also helped my other siblings with their daily needs.
In addition, I completed my Higher Secondary Education (12th grade) in Kerala, India, and I am currently studying BSc Adult Nursing at the University of Roehampton in the United Kingdom. My nursing studies help me understand the importance of care, patience, safety, and responsibility when looking after others, including children.

My Availability

My availability for the childcare position includes Monday afternoon, Wednesday and Sunday (full day), and Friday and Saturday afternoons.
