My Requirements

Childcare Needed – Start Week Commencing 11th May 2026

I am looking for a reliable, patient and understanding childminder for my son, Leighton. It is important that you have an understanding of ADHD and PDA, or are open to learning, as this is key to supporting him.

Ideally, I would prefer care to take place in our home, however I am open to discussing options as I appreciate this is a slightly different setup to typical childcare roles.

We would like to trial with the right person before the start date, so you can get to know Leighton, understand his routine, and be introduced to the school. This is important to ensure the right fit for both sides.

Current Requirements (Temporary Schedule)

Monday & Tuesday
• 07:15 – 13:00
• Drop off at school
• Collect from school at 15:15
• Care until 16:45

Wednesday (temporary arrangement)
• 07:15 – school drop-off (09:40)
• Collect from school for lunch at 11:45
• Return to school at 13:00
• Collect again at 15:15
• Care until 16:45

Future (once EHCP is in place)
• Monday to Wednesday
• 07:15 – school drop-off (08:45)
• Collect at 15:15
• Care until 16:30/16:45
• Lunch time collection will no longer be required

Optional (to be discussed)
• Thursday & Friday lunch collection (11:45–13:00, including drop back to school)

I’m looking for someone experienced, calm, flexible and patient, as routines may evolve slightly as he transitions into full-time education.
