Babysitter With Special Needs Experience Job In London
About Me
We have two children, aged 14 and 11. Both have ADHD, and our younger one also has autism.
Our daughter (aged 14) loves gymnastics and musical theatre, and our son (aged 11) loves tennis, cricket and watching wrestling on TV / playing with his WWE wrestling figures.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone who would be able to provide occasional babysitting services. While our 14 year old would be fine to be at home on her own for a few hours, and would be mortified by the suggestion that she needs a babysitter, her younger brother has autism and ADHD and can show some anxiety and challenging behaviour in this context, so needs a predictable adult to support his routine. It is unlikely that he’ll go to sleep if we’re out, which is fine - we just need someone to help him feel safe and contained so that we can get few hours respite together from time to time.

Farrah babysat for an evening for our 14 year old daughter and 11 year old son who has additional needs.
Our son’s review: ‘she was amazing, can she come every week?’
Our review: Farrah is a great communicator, was more than happy to pop over to meet us a couple of days before, made sure she was clear on boundaries and routines, and provided a calm, containing presence for a young person who was very anxious about us going out. She made both us and our children feel at ease, and had a very can do attitude throughout.
