Hi, I’m Safiya, a youth practitioner and SEN experienced babysitter from Manchester. I provide calm and compassionate childcare in the child’s own home, creating a safe and understanding environment where children feel comfortable being themselves.

My Experience
I hold a degree in Education Studies, giving me a strong understanding of child development, inclusive learning, and supportive practices.
I have worked as a SEN teaching assistant supporting autistic children and young people, including those with ADHD, learning differences, and sensory or emotional regulation needs. This included helping with routines, communication, learning activities, and providing calm, structured environments.
I also have experience as a youth worker, supporting children and young people’s wellbeing, confidence, and personal development through community and youth programs.
I am part of the youth management group at the Hope Collective, contributing to projects that centre young people’s voices and lived experiences.
Additionally, I can provide KS1 and KS2 homework support and tutoring on request.

My Availability
My availability is flexible as I work at a children’s home, so my schedule can change month to month. I am generally available for after-school care, evenings, and weekends, and I can confirm exact days in advance
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My rate is £13ph. Rates can be adjusted for longer sessions.
