About Me
Hello! We are a family from Poland visiting London regularly every few months for a few weeks at a time. We are currently staying in Walthamstow Village (near Churchill Road) until Saturday, 26th October.
My 2-year-old is a bit cautious and quiet around new people at first, but once they feel safe, they are very curious and observant. Making my child laugh is the ultimate key to a successful transition—humour helps them adapt very quickly!
My toddler absolutely loves musical instruments (especially guitars and pianos), animals (loves cats), gymnastics, and active outdoor play. Water and sand play (sensory activities) are among their favourites! They already have a great foundation and regular exposure to English; during our visits, we actively attend Mini Mozart classes, the Walthamstow Toy Library, local playgrounds, and children's playrooms, so the language is familiar and positively reinforced.
Back in Poland, we live close to the sea, so we spend a lot of time on the beach, as well as attending swimming pools, toddlers' gymnastics, music rhythmics, sensory classes, and Montessori-style playrooms. My child has no food allergies, and back in Poland, I cook from scratch using organic products and high-quality meat. As a parent, I highly value a calm, gentle approach and mindful living.
My Requirements
Our main goal is gentle language immersion for my 2-year-old child for our upcoming visits. We are looking for a Native English speaker or a bilingual English-Polish setting.
We would love to arrange a very gradual, daily adaptation path (starting from 1-2 hours and slowly increasing). For the first few sessions, I would highly appreciate being able to stay close by (e.g., sitting in your hallway or nearby) during the transition, just to give my child a sense of security and be there in case of an emergency.
Since we are in Walthamstow right now (until 26th October), I would deeply appreciate the opportunity to arrange a quick, 15-minute introductory visit (viewing) this week. I want my child to see your setting in a stress-free way, and I am happy to pay for your time.
We are looking for a registered childminder who shares our core values:
• Healthy, nutritious food (ideally organic/ cooked from scratch)
• Lots of outdoor play (ideally with access to your own garden or daily trips to nature)
• Respect for animals and the planet
