My Experience

Yes, I have some experience in childcare through informal settings. For example, I have helped look after younger children in my family and community. This included supervising them, helping with basic learning activities, and making sure they were safe and comfortable.

Through this experience, I developed important skills such as patience, communication, and responsibility. I also learned how to manage children’s behaviour in a calm and positive way, and how to keep them engaged with activities.

My Qualifications

I currently doing OCN business and have completed my Level 3 Business Administration and NCFE course, which has helped me develop important transferable skills such as communication, organisation, and responsibility. These skills are very important in a childcare setting, especially when working with children, parents, and other staff.

Although my qualification is not directly in childcare, I am very interested in this field and willing to undertake further training, such as safeguarding and childcare-related courses, to improve my knowledge and skills.

I also have practical experience supporting children informally, which has helped me build patience, understanding, and the ability to create a positive environment.
