Hi! my name is Amelia, i am 21 and living in nottingham, i am not studying here :)
I’m a warm, reliable and caring person who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and helping them feel safe, happy and supported. I have plenty of hands-on experience from helping care for my five younger brothers, aged 5–14, so I’m confident looking after children of different ages and personalities.
Through this, I’ve developed patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to keep children entertained while also setting clear boundaries when needed. Whether it’s helping with homework, organising fun activities, or sticking to routines like mealtimes and bedtime, I always aim to create a calm and positive environment.
I also live independently, which has made me very responsible, organised, and dependable. You can trust that I will take my role seriously and always put your child’s safety and wellbeing first.
I’m friendly, approachable, and easy to get along with, and I understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident in who they leave their children with.
In my free time, I enjoy socialising with friends and going on holidays, especially somewhere sunny. I have a good balance between being fun and relaxed, while still being responsible and reliable in everything I do.

My Experience
I have previous experience working with adults with disabilities, where I developed strong patience, empathy, and an understanding of how to support individuals with different needs in a calm and respectful way. This role helped me become very attentive, adaptable, and confident in handling a variety of situations.
I also have personal experience caring for my younger brother who has ADHD and autism. Through this, I’ve learned how to be understanding, patient, and supportive, while adapting to routines and approaches that work best for him. It’s helped me build a natural ability to stay calm, communicate clearly, and create a safe and comfortable environment.
Overall, my experience has made me very compassionate, responsible, and aware of the importance of providing care that is both supportive and tailored to each individual.
My Qualifications
While I do not have formal childcare qualifications, I have gained valuable experience through caring for children within my family and through previous roles, which has given me confidence in handling a range of situations responsibly and calmly.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My babysitting fee starts from £12–£15 per hour, depending on the number of children, hours required, and level of care needed. I’m happy to discuss and agree on a rate that works for both sides.
