My Requirements

We’re a warm, down?to?earth family preparing to return to work, and we’re looking for a kind, child?centred nanny to support our little girl as she continues to grow and explore. She’s a very curious 10?month?old who loves engaging with her environment, so we’re hoping to find someone who can nurture her development through age?appropriate, play?based activities with very limited screen time.

Both of us work from home, so we’re nearby if she becomes extremely unsettled, but we’re really looking for someone confident in taking the lead day?to?day—someone who can tune into her emotional needs, use their own initiative, and create a calm, responsive environment.
Clear communication is important to us, so we’d love a nanny who can provide accurate, detailed feedback about her routines, activities, and development. We also value fresh air and movement, so outdoor time—walks, park visits, and general exploration—will be a regular part of her day.

Key responsibilities
• Ensuring she is fed throughout the day. We will prepare most meals, but we’d like someone with a good understanding of food hygiene and simple meal prep in case they need to prepare something for her.
• Taking her out for walks and to the local park to keep her stimulated and engaged.
• Supporting her nap routine and creating a calm environment for rest.
• Handling nappy changes, accidents, and general care needs as they arise. We will get her ready for the day, but we expect the nanny to manage her care confidently during working hours.
• Keeping the areas used by the nanny and baby tidy and safe. There is no expectation of general housework, just maintaining a clean, organised play and care environment.
