About Me
Hello, my name is Ella and I am a registered childminder, with Ofsted. I will be open by September 2026.
I will be offering term-time/full time childcare, with preferred hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, although I can be semi-flexible depending on families’ needs.
Working with parents
I strongly believe that parents know their child best, and I value building positive, trusting relationships with families. I aim to work closely with parents to understand their child’s individual needs, routines and interests.
To maintain these relationships I will:
• Communicate regularly about children’s progress and daily experiences
• Share updates, photos and observations
• Encourage open conversations and feedback
• Work together with parents to support each child’s development
Transport
I have a full driving licence and access to a car, which is insured for childminding use. This allows us to safely visit local groups, parks, the library and other community activities.
Settling in sessions
I offer two 1 hour settling-in sessions that are tailored to each child and their family. These sessions help children gradually become comfortable in the setting and allow parents to feel confident that their child is happy and well cared for.

My Experience
I have been teaching secondary school children since 2018, but I am now looking forward to a new chapter in early years childcare where I can provide a nurturing, home-from-home environment for younger children.
I am also a parent myself and have two sons. One is 3 years old and attends preschool, and the other is 7 months old. Being a parent gives me valuable first-hand experience of caring for children and understanding the needs of both children and their families.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
£7.50 an Hour. I will be accepting funded hours, and tax-free.
