About Me

I am a warm, caring and outdoors-focused childminder with a real passion for helping children learn through play and exploration. I love spending time in nature and believe being outdoors is a fantastic way for children to build confidence, curiosity and independence. As a mum of two children aged 6 and 8, I have plenty of hands-on experience and understand the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and fun environment where every child feels valued. We enjoy regular outdoor adventures, creative activities and making the most of the local area. I also spend time travelling to France each summer in our campervan, which reflects my love of adventure, culture and making lasting family memories — something I aim to bring into my childcare setting.

My Experience

I have over four years of experience working with children in both school and nursery settings. During this time, I have supported children of different ages and stages of development, helping them to learn, grow and feel secure in their environment. My experience has given me a strong understanding of child development, routines, and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing and engaging space for children. I have worked closely with other staff and parents to support each child’s individual needs and development.

My Qualifications

I hold an EYFS Diploma and have completed Safeguarding Level 3 training, giving me a strong understanding of how to support children’s development and keep them safe. I am also qualified in Paediatric First Aid, ensuring I can respond confidently in an emergency. In addition, I have completed training in Healthy Eating and Food Hygiene, allowing me to provide nutritious meals and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I continue to provide the best possible care.
