About Me
My fiancé and I are expecting our son in July 2026, and he will be our first child.
We are both Paramedics based in Coventry and work shifts.
We permanently reside in Coundon (CV6 2), and our work base is in Longford just off the M6. Nurseries/Childminders in this general area would be most beneficial for us.
My Requirements
We are looking for childcare options ideally from July 2027, though can stretch to September for the right fit. I will be going onto a flexible reduced hour rota pattern, as my partner works rotating days on a 4 on 4 off pattern, year round.
We are ideally seeking 2x full days a week, likely either Tues/Weds, or Weds/Thurs. Cover during school holidays would be beneficial, but is not a necessity again for the right fit.
We do not have any family in our immediate locality, and so are keen to find a loving and supportive environment for our little boy that can support his development and our family long term, until he reaches school age.
We are hoping to find an environment that supports creation and mental stimulation, with a focus on sensory play and cognitive development. We are keen to avoid screen time where possible.
