About Me
I am a fully qualified trilingual Montessori Teacher (MCI International age 2-8) with ten years experience teaching in three Montessori schools in the UK. My first language is English (I am also a fully qualified TEFL teacher), my second language is French and my third is Spanish. I have a depth of experience in teaching EAL and SEN children and have a passion for “following the child” in his/her learning and development journey. I incorporate art and elements of forest school into my practice whenever possible as I have seen over the years how this can bring so much joy to the child as he/she discovers his/her innate creativity. I have had some experience of following the Reggio Emilio model and I feel that this enriches the Montessori pedagogical approach.
My Experience
I retrained at Montessori Centre International in London in 2014 having previously worked in corporate roles using my languages as an interpreter and translator. I had been fortunate to be able to take time out for ten years to raise my four children and it was during this period that I discovered the world of Montessori when I sent my son to a Montessori Nursery for two years. Having gained my Montessori Diploma in 2016 I was offered a placement at Norwich Montessori School and subsequently a role as a Montessori Teacher. When I relocated to Brighton in 2019 I was offered a role as Senior Montessori Teacher at Horsham Montessori School where I led the Montessori provision for three years. I currently work as a Montessori Teacher at Snowdrop House Montessori in Haywards Heath (now part of the Happy Days group of nurseries). I also offer TEFL tutorship online and am a prolific artist when time allows.

English Lit, French, Spanish Alevels (all grade A) French S Level with distinction
