Early Years Development Specialist / Nanny-Educator (Part-Time/Flexible)

We are a fast-paced, bilingual family based in Fulham (SW6) seeking a dedicated and creative Early Years professional to partner with us in the development of our sixteen-month-old son. We have chosen to raise our child at home to ensure a bespoke, high-quality educational environment, and we are looking for a mentor who can provide 2 to 4 days of structured yet play-based engagement per week. Our primary focus is not merely "childcare" but the cultivation of executive capabilities, including problem-solving, creativity, and a genuine excitement for learning. We operate in a technology-forward and entrepreneurial household, and we value a candidate who is proactive, observant, and capable of adapting their approach to our child’s evolving interests.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing daily activities that challenge our son’s cognitive boundaries while building his self-confidence. This includes sensory play to spark creativity, interactive storytelling to support his bilingual foundation, and "scaffolded" challenges that encourage independent problem-solving. We are looking for someone with a background in Early Childhood Education (such as a BA in Early Years or a Norland Diploma) who understands how to turn a simple walk to the park or a mealtime into a rich learning opportunity. You should be a lifelong learner yourself, staying up-to-date with pedagogical trends and bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the table. Above all, you will be a calm, supportive presence who fosters a sense of security and enthusiasm in Leonardo as he explores the world.
