My Experience

I am trained in delivering phonics sessions and regularly lead 1:1 and small group interventions, helping children build confidence and close gaps in their learning.

I have strong experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including those with behavioural needs, ADHD, and communication difficulties. I’m patient, calm, and able to build trusting relationships with children who may struggle to engage with others. I’m confident planning and adapting activities to suit each child’s individual needs and learning style.

My Qualifications

• GCSE English & Maths (Grade C) – strong foundational skills for tutoring and supporting learning.
• Level 2 Supporting Teaching & Learning – trained to assist children effectively in the classroom.
• Level 2 Understanding Behaviour That Challenges – skilled in managing and supporting children with behavioural needs.
• Phonics Training – fully trained to deliver and lead phonics interventions independently.
• University Psychology (First Year Completed) – studied child development and learning, giving me insight into how children think and learn.

My Availability

I am flexible. I work Monday to Friday in a primary school from 8:30am-3:30pm so I will mainly be free evenings and weekends.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

My rate reflects my experience working in primary schools, delivering phonics sessions, leading 1:1 and small group interventions, and supporting children with SEN. I charge £20 per hour for tutoring, which includes planning and tailoring activities to each child’s learning needs.
