About Me
I am a registered childminder providing a safe, caring, and home-based childcare service. I offer a warm and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and develop through a variety of age-appropriate activities.
I support children’s development through play-based learning, both indoors and outdoors, including local park visits, library sessions, and creative activities at home. I provide healthy snacks and follow good hygiene and safety practices.
I care for children in a small group setting, allowing for individual attention and strong relationships. I work closely with parents to meet each child’s needs and support their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

My Experience
I have experience caring for children through both my personal and family life. I come from a large family with seven siblings and I am the second oldest, which has given me lifelong experience of caring for and supporting younger children.
I am also a parent to my 19-month-old son, which has provided me with hands-on experience of caring for a baby and toddler. This includes supporting daily routines such as feeding, sleeping, learning through play, and emotional development.
These experiences have given me a strong understanding of children’s needs, behaviour, and development. I use this knowledge to create a safe, caring, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow.
I am committed to providing high-quality childcare and continue to develop my skills and knowledge through training and experience.
My Qualifications
I have experience working as a support worker within learning disability services alongside NHS staff. This role has given me valuable experience in supporting individuals with a range of needs, promoting independence, and providing person-centred care.
Through this work, I have developed strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to respond appropriately to different situations. I understand the importance of safeguarding, dignity, and promoting wellbeing.
Alongside my professional experience, I have completed the required childcare-related training for registration, including safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and food hygiene. I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure I provide safe and high-quality care.
