Full Time Nanny Job In Birmingham
About Me
We are a warm, respectful, and well-organised family based in Sutton Coldfield, looking for a reliable nanny to become a valued part of our household.
We have three lovely children aged 12 (boy), 10 (girl), and 6 (girl). They are well-behaved, active, and enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities including football, fencing, gymnastics, and netball.
Our home environment is structured but relaxed — we value clear routines, good communication, and a calm, positive atmosphere. We are supportive, fair, and respectful, and we aim to create a role where our nanny feels comfortable, trusted, and appreciated.
We understand the importance of work-life balance and aim to keep expectations clear and manageable. There is no bedtime responsibility, and we are flexible with meals as long as the children are fed before the evening.
We are looking for someone long-term who is reliable, organised, and kind, and who will build a positive relationship with our children and become a consistent presence in their daily routine.
My Requirements
We are looking for a reliable and organised nanny to support our children’s after-school routine in a calm and structured environment.
Childcare:
The role includes school pick-ups, supervising the children after school, and ensuring they are safe, engaged, and following a consistent routine. The main focus will be on the 6- and 10-year-old, with general awareness of the 12-year-old who is largely independent.
The nanny will also be responsible for transporting the children to and from extracurricular activities, ensuring they are prepared and on time.
Tutoring:
Support with homework is required approximately twice per week. This includes helping the children stay focused, organised, and confident with their schoolwork, rather than formal teaching.
Household:
Responsibilities are limited to light, child-related tasks such as keeping areas tidy, organising school bags and uniforms, and maintaining a clean and organised environment for the children.
Meals:
A flexible approach is taken — the main priority is ensuring the children have eaten dinner before 8:00pm.
Additional Notes:
• No bedtime responsibilities required (handled by parents)
• The role is structured but relaxed, with clear expectations and a supportive environment
