About Me
We're a fun, friendly, and easy-going family who love making memories together.
Family time is really important to us, and whenever we get the chance, you'll usually find us out exploring the Lake District. Our home is also shared with our very friendly Labradoodle, Cooper, who is a big part of the family and loves meeting new people.
Mum works as a Project Controller in the archaeology industry, and Dad works as a full-time mechanic, so life can be pretty busy!
Like most parents, we don't have a huge support network nearby, so we're hoping to find someone who can become part of Ethan's little team and be someone we can rely on from time to time.
Our goal is simply to find the right person who can help us enjoy the occasional date night or day out together, while knowing Ethan is happy, safe, and having just as much fun as we are!
My Requirements
Ethan is autistic, has suspected ADHD, and is very sensory seeking. He's a happy, funny, energetic little boy who loves being outdoors and is always on the go!
Some of Ethan's favourite things are:
* Walks in the Lake District and exploring new places
* Parks and outdoor adventures
* Water play
* Books and watching his favourite films
* Anything that keeps him moving and engaged
Like many autistic children, Ethan experiences the world a little differently and needs constant 1:1 supervision to keep him safe. He also benefits from simple communication, patience, understanding of autism, and support with routines and transitions.
What we're looking for:
* Someone kind, patient and reliable.
* Experience with autism/SEN is a bonus, but we're equally happy to hear from someone who is willing to learn.
* Someone we'd feel comfortable reaching out to for occasional weekend babysitting, with the possibility of some support during the school holidays if you're available.
* Most importantly, someone who wants to build a genuine connection with Ethan and become a familiar, trusted face in his life.
