Full Time Nanny Job in London
About Me
We’re a warm and friendly family of three with a little boy who will be one year old when the nanny joins us. Both of us work full-time in hybrid roles, splitting our time between home and the office. We love good food, getting out and about, and travelling when we can. We keep a clean, organised home and value creating a calm, structured environment, which is something we hope to instil in our son as he grows.
My Requirements
We are looking for a reliable and experienced live-out nanny to join our family, working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with some flexibility to consider a Monday–Thursday arrangement). Punctuality is essential, and we value someone who is clean, organised, and able to maintain a tidy environment—cleaning up after our child and encouraging good habits as he grows. The role includes preparing a daily family meal, laundry for our son, cleaning his room and play areas, and supporting all aspects of childcare, such as feeding, changing, and bathing. We would like the nanny to take our son to pre-planned activities and classes, as well as collaborate with us on selecting additional ones to support his development. Candidates must have at least two references, a clean DBS check, a clean driving licence, and live within 5 miles of our home. A valid first aid certification (within the past two years) and proven experience with young children are required. We are ideally looking for someone who has had children of their own and/or has experience caring for younger siblings. The role will begin on 12 October 2026, with a minimum commitment of 6–12 months and potential for extension. We have a preference for female candidates.
For the right candidate, we would like to start with 2 day per week as of July to ensure a smooth transition for our son when I return to work and also to ensure they are the right person for our family prior to committing to a long term contract.
