My Summary
About Me
With over 35 years of experience working with children, caring for little ones isn't just my profession—it's my lifelong passion. As a mother of four grown children and a proud grandmother of three, I bring hands-on knowledge, patience, and warmth to every day childcare.
I understand firsthand the trust you place in a childminder, and I strive to create a safe, nurturing "home away from home" environment where your child feels valued, happy, and secure.
My approach balances attentive personal care with early years learning through structured play. I believe children learn best when they are having fun, exploring, and engaging their natural curiosity.
Whether we are sharing a story, building with blocks, exploring nature, or learning through interactive games, my goal is to spark joy and foster a strong foundation for your child's early developmental milestones
My Experience
Having founded and run a nursery 25 years ago, I bring a unique combination of professional early childhood expertise, strong organizational skills, and a deeply rooted commitment to child development. Beyond nursery management and home childminding, I have also actively volunteered in school settings, providing targeted support in reading, writing, and math to help children build confidence in their key academic skills.
Having guided hundreds of children through their early years, my focus remains on creating a warm, structured, and inspiring setting where every child feels encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive at their own speed.
