About Me

With 35 years of professional experience caring for newborns, infants, and toddlers, I now specialise in postnatal care supporting babies and their families during the precious early weeks following birth.

My approach is calm, responsive, and relationship-based, with a strong focus on helping parents and babies build secure attachments from the very beginning. I provide practical, hands-on support while also offering reassurance and encouragement as families adjust to life with a new baby.

Every family is different, so I take the lead from your individual needs, values, and parenting style. Whether supporting feeding, sleep, sibling adjustment, or the day-to-day realities of newborn life, my goal is to help parents feel confident, rested, and well supported during this special transition.

I am currently working with 7 week old twins for overnight support twice a week, and I am looking for something to work in with this role.

I also have a number of years experience as a Newborn Care Specialist (previously called Maternity Nurse) prior to having my own children, working 24/6 usually for 4-12 weeks at a time.

When my own children were small I retrained, gaining my Bachelor of Teaching Degree in early childhood education and have spent the past 9 years as a Senior Teacher/Infant Room Lead working closely with infants, families, and student teachers.

I have my New Zealand equivalent to DBS as that is where I have been living for the past 25 years. I moved back to England in May 2026.
