I am a trained Maternity Practitioner and Infant & Childcare Specialist with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education. Earlier in my career I worked as a nanny, and maternity nurse (non-medical), and over the past 35 years I have built extensive professional experience supporting newborns, young children, and their families across a variety of roles. Alongside my diverse professional experience, I bring the insight gained through hands-on parenting, bringing both practical knowledge and genuine empathy to every family I support. After several rewarding years in education I have returned to the maternity work that first inspired my career and continues to be my greatest passion!
I offer calm, practical, and nurturing care, as parents adjust to life with their new baby, helping families feel confident, informed, and well supported during this important transition. My approach is responsive, relationship-based, and centred on the unique needs of each family. I believe in building secure attachments and work alongside parents to support their children's individual needs. Every family is different, so I take the lead from their values, preferences, and parenting style, offering guidance where needed while respecting their individual choices.
I am available for fixed-term bookings. I enjoy building lasting relationships and providing the continuity, stability, and expert care that allow both parents and children to thrive.
