Experienced Newborn Nanny Needed
About Me
We are a friendly working couple in our thirties looking for a warm, caring and experienced live-out nanny to join our family and help care for our newborn (10 weeks old). We are looking for someone nurturing, reliable and genuinely passionate about children, and previous newborn experience is essential. This is a long-term position and we would love to find someone who becomes an important and valued part of our family.

Location: North Hertfordshire
Start Date: End of June / Beginning of July
Working Hours:
Monday – Thursday
8:00am – 6:00pm
10 hours per day
40 hours per week
With occasional flexibility
Salary:
Competitive salary
We are looking for someone who is:
• Experienced with newborns (essential)
• DBS checked (essential)
• Paediatric first-aid trained (essential)
• Kind, nurturing and trustworthy
• Reliable, organised, clean and tidy
• Calm and confident with maintaining our routines (sleep training)
• Proactive
• Driver preferred, although not essential (would be a bonus)
• Fluent in English
Responsibilities include:
• All nursery duties and general childcare responsibilities
• Supporting and maintaining baby routines
• Planning age-appropriate activities and stimulation as baby grows
• Bottle preparation and washing
• Keeping the nursery clean and tidy
• Baby laundry and organisation
• General light housekeeping and maintaining tidiness around the home (we have a separate weekly cleaner)
• Baby weaning experience and food shop and prep
