Private Tutor With Special Needs Experience Job In Liverpool
About Me
Hi, I’m Joanne
I have a undergraduate degree in Child Health and Well-being and a PGCE in Early Years Education (3-7).
I’m a qualified early years teacher and a mum of three, with a strong passion for supporting children in their learning and development. I have worked in a range of settings since completing my degree such as day nurseries and primary schools. I offer a calm, nurturing, and patient approach to tutoring, helping children feel confident and comfortable as they learn.
I have extensive experience working with young children, including those with special educational needs (SEN). As a parent to a child with SEN as well as being diagnosed ASD myself, I understand first-hand the importance of adapting learning to suit each individual child. I focus on building strong relationships, recognising each child’s strengths, and supporting them at their own pace.
My sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each child, with an emphasis on developing confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning. I believe every child deserves to feel successful and supported, and I aim to create a safe and encouraging environment where they can thrive.
