About Me

Hello! I’m a parent to a lovely 2-year-old who is full of personality and curiosity. We’re currently looking for a caring, patient, and understanding babysitter or childminder to support us during school holidays.

My child has some additional needs, including challenges with communication, sensory processing, and behaviour. They are currently being supported by professionals, including speech and language therapy, and we are awaiting further assessment. Because of this, it’s really important to us that anyone caring for them is gentle, attentive, and willing to follow their lead and routines.

Despite these challenges, my child is a happy and unique little one who enjoys exploring and playing in their own way. He especially loves being outdoors and benefits from spending time outside. He also communicates using signs and objects of reference, so someone open to learning and using these methods would be really helpful.

What We’re Looking For

We’re hoping to find someone who:
• Has experience with young children (experience with additional needs is a big plus)
• Is patient, calm, and understanding
• Can provide a safe and nurturing environment
• Is open to learning about and supporting my child’s individual communication and sensory needs
• Can help during school holidays (times/days can be discussed)

A Bit About Me

I’m a dedicated and caring parent who values open communication and trust. I’m happy to provide guidance, routines, and any information needed to ensure my child feels secure and supported.

If you think you’d be a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!
