About Me
I am a mum of 2. I have a son called Matthew who is 3 and a daughter called Isabelle who was born in February.
I have just started Little Legs Daycare, run from my home, and have spaces for September 2026.
I have trained and qualified as a childminder whilst being off on maternity leave with my daughter having worked as a qualified solicitor for over 8 years. I am organised and reliable and wish to go back to caring for and educating children which I did back when I was in university by volunteering at a primary school as a classroom assistant and also working at a nursery.
I have DBS certification, paediatric first aid training and safeguarding training.
I am a home based setting and will be following the EYFS framework. Days here for your little ones will include baking, child led play indoor and outdoor (in my garden), gardening, crafts, local walks including the Staffordshire Way, Tittesworth Reservoir and trips to the playground.
My Experience
Volunteered as a classroom assistant at a primary school for 2 years and worked at a nursery for 1.5 years.
Am also raising 2 children so understand how to care for newborns and early years development, expected milestones, learning and understanding their emotions and different stages of play and learning.
My Qualifications
Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training.
Childcare training via agency.
My Availability
From 1 September 2026. Flexible hours Monday to Friday. Before and after school care with school pick ups and drop offs possible depending on location of school.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
£8 per hour
£7 per day food, trips, craft supplies etc
Nappies and wipes not provided but can be for additional cost

- I provide drop offs and pick ups at Rushton CofE Primary School
