About Me

I'm a first time mum with a baby girl born February 2026. I live on the borders of Rothwell and Middleton with my fiancé and 3 cats. Both me and my partner work in office based roles Monday to Friday (fixed hours) and hybrid work so we both have 2-3 days a week working from home.

We are looking for a placement for our baby using the 30 hours free childcare. Our aim is to start in January 2027 and would like to look at options now and potentially secure a placement as soon as possible as I know there is a lot of competition for spaces. My aim is to also pro-rata the 30 hours over the whole year as in aware that some childcare providers are able to offer this option.
