Hello,
My name is Rachael and I am an 'Outstanding' childminder who has been educating and caring for little ones for 25 years, and as well as having two daughters of my own, I am a qualified NNEB nursery nurse and hold a Early Years Degree and a NVQ level 3 in Child care learning and development.
I have been on many courses to improve my practice and am constantly looking at new ways to improve and training opportunities. I am qualified in Paediatric First Aid and renew this qualification every 3 years. As a Registered Childminder, I and all members of my family are police checked as suitable people to look after children and I am regularly inspected by OFSTED (graded 'Outstanding' in February 2020, April 2016 & July 2012)
My aim is to provide a safe, friendly and interesting environment where your child will feel both secure and happy, and that you in turn will be able to return to work knowing that your child is well cared for.
I live in a detached 4 bedroom house just off the A325 in Camberley, close to Prior Heath school & Frimley Park hospital with my husband, my youngest daughter and our small and friendly dog, Freddie.
I have wonderful facilities including a large bright playroom offering the children free choice of many different toys and resources in a cosy and welcoming environment.
Enclosed garden with Wendy house, reading hut, sand and water play, mud kitchen, bug hotel, explorative play area, gardening patch and ride ons.
At Happy Tots, children can enjoy painting, sticking, role play, construction, small world toys, cooking, gardening, and many other activites.
Daily outings can include; parks, forest play, soft play, gym, library, rhyme time, toddler groups and visits to the farm,, zoo and national trust sites.
My Experience
More than 25 years experience of caring for and educating young babies and children.
I started my career as a Nursery Nurse in a day nursery followed by nannying for private families, caring for children aged 6 weeks to 10 years, including children with special educational needs and twins!
Managed a pre school and a Registered 'Outstanding' Childminder at every inspection.
Safeguarding Children Trainer.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
Daily fees include all meals, snacks, nappies, wipes, activities & outings.
Accept most Vouchers & 15 hours & 30 hours Goverment Free Entitlement for 9 month olds, 2 & 3 & 4 year olds.

Finding the right childminder is not easy but when I met Rachael for the first time I knew she was the right one for our son ☺️.
A true professional with many years of experience and most importantly doing it with love and devotion.
Rachael has always been very creative in her way of teaching the kids, through all sorts of activities, always spending a lot of the day outside exploring nature and learning new skills.
Our son stayed with her up until reception. She made sure he was more than well prepared and guiding us, the parents through the process too. She’s helped our son grow into a kind, gentle and clever boy, always supporting and leading him on the right direction.
Our son loved the time spent at Happy tots as well as Rachael and her wonderful family. We were truly lucky and so very grateful!

Rachael is a fantastic childminder. Loving and kind to Jack, a beautiful and welcoming home and family. She provides both a fun and educational environment and has been such a support to us as a family. She sets good boundaries for the children and keeps us up to date on Jacks progress as well as photos of him out and about having fun. I love the fact he has a home environment but goes out daily on adventures to play areas, parks, classes, farms etc

The best telephone call I ever made was to Rachel before I had to return to work ! My son has been going to her for over 2 years now and loves every minute. He gets to do so many activities, go to exciting places and interact with lots of children as Rachael does so much with the children in her care.
Would totally and utterly recommend her to anyone looking for a warm, caring and fun childminder with a great family and warm, friendly environment for the children.
Also cooks every day for the children - my son loves her food!
An amazing lady all round : )
