About Me
Stay at home mum with two children aged 7 and 1. Our daughter is bright and loves doing her hair and makeup, as well as outdoor adventures in her wellies. Our son is full of energy and enjoys big movement activities and anything cars — Lightning McQueen is a firm favourite! We also have two friendly dogs (a Labrador and Shih Tzu cross) and a black cat. I'm starting at Lincoln University in early October, so I'll need childcare for my 1-year-old during term time.
My Requirements
For university term time: I need regular care for my 1-year-old in a childminder or nursery setting. My son has never been cared for by anyone else, so I need someone kind but fair who can help ease him into this. He's always trying to climb things, so attentive care is essential. For ad-hoc support: I also need flexible babysitting (odd weekends and weekdays) so I can have time to socialise — this may be for my 1-year-old, my 7-year-old, or both depending on the day. My daughter is helpful and enjoys looking after her brother. Our Labrador is friendly but jumps up and needs a firm hand — someone comfortable with big, enthusiastic dogs is ideal. Our Shih Tzu cross is also friendly, and we have a black cat who prefers his own space.
