About Me

Hello,

I’m Charlotte, aka The Canny Childminder.
I live with my husband James and our two lovely boys, Lennon and Otis. We also have 2 cats, Lily and Rio, and a super cute dog called Roxanne.

I provide a warm, nurturing home-from-home environment for children aged 0–3 years.

I encourage little ones to explore, discover, and learn through their natural interests and play.

Our days are filled with meaningful experiences both indoors and outdoors, supporting each child’s development, confidence, and creativity.

We also enjoy attending local family hub sessions and Tiny Tweeties sessions, giving children valuable opportunities to socialise, express themselves, and engage with the world around them in a fun and supportive setting.

My Experience

I have over 15 years experience working with children in the Early Years and hold a BA Hons in Education and Curriculum Studies.

My experience has allowed me to create a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, valued and confident to explore.
