My Experience

Alternative Provision: I currently work with children who are unable to attend school due to issues like anxiety, behaviour, and stress. This role requires high-level expertise in de-escalation, emotional regulation, and tailored curriculum delivery for students with complex needs.

Private tutor: I also tutor students both face-to-face and online. I am currently working with students between KS2 and GCSE level. This includes preparing students for exams and post-16 work.

10 Years as an SEMH practitioner and an LSA: I spent a decade working as an LSA and SEMH practioner with inner-city children in London. This gave me deep, practical experience in supporting students with EHCPs, Dyslexia, Autism, EAL, and SEMH I understand the specific needs of neurodivergent learners and how to adapt my teaching style to meet their needs. I also worked with students considered "gifted and talented" to help ensure they continue to make progress.

International Teaching: I spent two years teaching English in China. This experience gave me a lot of patience and taught me to think outside the box when working with young people. Additionally, I hold a level 5 168 hour TEFL certificate.
