About Me
I am a first year student at Goldsmiths University studying media and anthropology. Im a bubbly, energetic character who enjoys spending time with children and encouraging them to tap into their creative side. In my free time I enjoy photography, film making, arts and crafts and music. Because of my age I feel like I can connect with children in a way other adults cannot and have often been described as a ‘big sister’ type by the children I’ve previously babysat.
My Experience
I’ve babysat children from many households but have had plenty of experience from a young age from my family as I was often babysitting my cousins and family as babies or young children. I have also assisted in SEND classrooms and practiced mindfulness exercises with the children (activities such as yoga, breath work, mindfulness colouring, coping mechanisms for stress and more). I’ve also volunteered since I was 9 (8 years now) at Harlequin fayre (making pom-poms with children), as well as fairy fayre (teaching children about wildlife and folklore).
My Qualifications
Catering experience, Waitressing, Bar work, Sound engineering, Radio presenter.
My Availability
My term has ended now so I’m available most days now, weekdays are better for me as I work at a bar/ record shop at the weekends. Can still do weekends if needed though.
