About Me
Hello, my name is Jordan, and I am a pre-registered childminder based in Atherton. I live with my husband and our three beautiful children.
I am a caring, reliable, and passionate mother, dedicated to providing a safe, happy, and nurturing home-from-home environment for children of all ages. I understand how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in trusted hands, and I work hard to build strong, positive relationships with both children and their families.
I follow the EYFS framework and provide a fun, stimulating setting with a variety of age-appropriate activities to support every child’s learning and development. These include:
Creative play and arts and crafts
Outdoor activities and nature walks
Educational games and learning opportunities
Story time and sensory play
Routines that support each child’s individual needs and development
I strongly promote healthy eating and regular exercise, as I believe these are essential for children’s wellbeing and development. We regularly visit local parks, forests, libraries, and playgroups to encourage learning through exploration and social interaction.
We are extremely lucky to have a beautiful play park and lovely open farmland directly in front of our home, giving children plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and explore nature safely.
My aim is to help every child feel valued, secure, and encouraged to grow in confidence while enjoying their time in my care. I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment where children can learn, play, and thrive.
I look forward to supporting families and providing high-quality childcare in a loving and nurturing setting.
My Experience
I absolutely love working with and spending time with children. As a mother to three young children, I have gained a wealth of experience over the years through caring for my own children, alongside the experience I have gained within educational settings.
Comfort, compassion, and love are extremely important to me and are at the heart of the care I provide to all children, including my own.
I have experience caring for children of different ages and abilities, including young babies, school-aged children, and children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities). I understand the importance of providing individual support, patience, and a nurturing environment where every child feels included, valued, and able to thrive.
My experience in school settings has helped me support children’s learning, development, routines, and social skills, while my work with babies has given me a strong understanding of early development, care routines, and the importance of creating secure attachments.
I am extremely motivated, committed, and enthusiastic about supporting the development of children. Watching them learn, grow, and thrive is incredibly important to me. I also believe it is vital to keep parents informed through daily updates about their children’s activities, progress, and achievements.
