About Me
Hi, I’m Nivi — a registered childminder based in Croydon, offering a warm, safe, and nurturing home-from-home environment for children aged 0–5.
I’m passionate about supporting children’s early development through play, creativity, and everyday experiences that help build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. I believe every child is unique and deserves individual attention in a caring and relaxed setting where they feel happy and secure.
Alongside early years care, I also provide after-school care for children under 8, including school pick-ups, healthy snacks, and homework support in a calm, family-style environment.
I enjoy creating a rich learning environment and love supporting children’s communication skills through a multilingual approach, as I speak English, French, Tamil, and Spanish.

My Experience
I am a former Nursery Assistant with strong experience in the EYFS curriculum and early childhood development. I have worked closely with young children, supporting their learning, routines, and overall wellbeing in a nurturing environment.
Alongside this, I have experience tutoring children aged 3–5, helping them build key skills for school readiness such as communication, confidence, early literacy, and numeracy.
This combination of hands-on nursery experience and focused educational support allows me to provide a high-quality environment where children are not only well cared for, but also encouraged to learn, grow, and feel confident as they prepare for their next steps in education.
My Qualifications
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, which is equivalent to a Level 6 qualification in France. I am paediatric first aid trained and have completed safeguarding training as well as Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene.
I also use my background in mathematics to support early numeracy development, offering “Mini-Maths” learning for children aged 3–5 to help them build a strong foundation for school.
My Availability
Nivi’s Little Explorers is open Monday to Saturday, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering year-round care from birth to 5 years.
I offer both full-time and part-time spaces, with flexible options to suit your family’s needs. I also provide local school drop-offs and pick-ups, and accept all government funding schemes, including Tax-Free Childcare.
Limited spaces available – early enquiry is recommended to secure your preferred days.
My Fees
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
My standard rate is £8 per hour or £75 per day. This includes everything your child needs throughout the day – high-quality care, learning through play, activities, fresh home-cooked meals, and healthy snacks.
There are no hidden extra charges for children under 3.
For children aged 3+ using funded hours, there is a small £8 daily fee to cover meals, snacks, and all learning resources. For non-funded children aged 3+, the daily fee is £4.
My daily rate of £75 applies for full-day care, and there is no extra charge for occasional slightly late pick-ups.
I aim to provide a warm, nurturing environment where your child is happy, well cared for, and supported in their development.
