My Requirements

We are a friendly, busy family based in Chislehurst with two young children aged 2 and 5. We are looking for a warm, reliable and proactive after-school nanny to become a valued part of our family.

**Hours:**
Monday to Friday, typically between 20–25 hours per week.
Core hours will usually be 2:00pm–7:00pm, with some flexibility depending on the right candidate. We are happy to agree a schedule that works well for both sides.

There may also be opportunities for additional hours during school holidays, to be discussed and agreed in advance.

**Responsibilities:**

* School pick-up from Midfield Primary School
* Planning and preparing simple, healthy meals for the children
* Supporting homework and engaging in age-appropriate activities
* Helping with the evening routine (bath time and getting ready for bed)
* Children’s laundry
* Light housekeeping/tidying related to the children (e.g. kitchen after meals, play areas, keeping things organised)

We also have a friendly dog, so being comfortable around dogs is important. There is the option for additional paid hours to include a daily dog walk if desired.

**About you:**
We are looking for someone kind, organised and dependable, who takes initiative and enjoys working with young children. A calm, positive approach and good communication are important to us. A driver is strongly preferred.

**Pay:**
Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
