About Me

I am a newly qualified, Ofsted-registered childminder with over 15 years of experience working within the early years sector. I hold Early Years Teacher Status and am committed to promoting children’s independence, developing their confidence, and fostering positive relationships. I provide a safe, nurturing, and home-from-home environment in which every child is valued and supported to reach their full potential.

My childminding setting is based in a spacious home with a large, secure garden, including a playhouse and climbing frame to support outdoor play and physical development. The open-plan kitchen and dining area provides opportunities for sensory play and creative activities, while a downstairs toilet promotes accessibility and independence in personal care.

The setting is within walking distance of local parks and benefits from excellent transport links, with access to Romsey, Southampton, and Winchester, enabling a range of outings and community-based experiences.

My Experience

I have worked in senior roles including Deputy Manager, Third in Charge, and Room Lead.

I provide a safe, nurturing “home from home” environment where children are supported to learn, grow, and thrive through play and meaningful experiences.

My Qualifications

- Early Years Teacher Status (Level 6, EYTS)
- Level 2 & Level 3 in Childcare
- Bachelors degree in Education from the University of Southampton
- Paediatric First Aid

- Can offer drop off/ pick up from North Baddesley Infant & Junior School
(7:30-8:45) £8 inclusive of breakfast if arriving before 8:15am
(15:15-18:00) £15 inclusive of an after-school snack.
