Hello, I’m Sharna, an experienced childcare professional offering reliable and flexible babysitting in Soham and surrounding areas.
With over 7 years of hands-on experience in nurseries and schools, I have worked with children of all ages, from babies through to preschool. I currently work as a nursery room leader of 2 years.
I have a solid understanding of the EYFS, including planning activities, tracking progress, and supporting any child’s individual development.
Building strong relationships with parents is very important to me, and I pride myself on clear communication and working in partnership to support every child’s wellbeing and development. I am dedicated to creating a warm, fun, and secure environment where children feel comfortable, confident, and valued. I enjoy planning engaging activities that support learning through play, while also following children’s interests and maintaining familiar routines. My goal is to provide high-quality care that gives parents peace of mind, knowing their children are safe, happy, and well cared for at all times.
My Experience
I have 7 years of experience working with children in nurseries and schools, including roles as a Room Leader across all age groups from babies to preschool. I have experience supporting children with SEND and a strong understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), including planning, observation, and assessment, enabling me to support all areas of children’s development. I also have extensive experience working in partnership with parents to ensure the best outcomes for every child.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, along with First Aid, Health and Safety, and Safeguarding training. I have experience supporting children with SEND and am fully DBS checked, with annual updates.
My Availability
Due to currently working full time I have Tuesdays free and weekends. I work until 6pm so could be free for some evenings too!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
- Nannying from £14.00 per hour (gross)
