Me and my daughter Blanka run this account to find support for Aron (my son/ her brother) :)
We are a supportive, family-focused household seeking extra help for our 11-year-old son. He is kind, communicative, and eager to learn, with autism and additional needs. He attends mainstream school and benefits from tailored support. We value patience, consistency, and encouragement, and are keen to build his knowledge at home.
My Requirements
We are looking for a patient, understanding tutor to support our 11-year-old son with English, maths, and reading at home. He has autism and is currently working below age-related expectations, but his teachers feel he is very capable with the right support.
He communicates well and engages positively in school, but finds it difficult to sit and learn with us at home. We believe working with someone outside the family would really help him focus and make progress.
He currently has support with reading and writing in Hungarian, so we are looking for someone to build his confidence and ability in English as well. Any support with basic life skills would also be a bonus.
He has an EHCP, which we are happy to share if helpful. He is in mainstream primary school and will be transitioning to mainstream secondary school in September, so we are keen to support him during this important time.
We are happy to answer any questions and would love to find someone who can build a positive, encouraging relationship with him.
We are looking for someone who could come out to teach him in our home. So someone who would feel comfortable with that.
Potentially looking for Weekend evenings/afternoon on a Sunday. Open to weekday evening to trial just unsure how Aron would be after a long day at school. Saturday we have our Hungarian tutor in the morning so only day is Sunday that would work as of now. - Open for any suggestions
