My Requirements

Part-time long term nanny wanted - starting August 2026

We’re a friendly family looking for a kind and reliable nanny to care for our little boy who will be 1 once the role starts.

We’re hoping to find someone who will become a long-term part of our family.

The role
- Thursdays, approximately 9-5pm (8 hours per week)
- £15-£21 depending on experience
- caring for 1 child
- preparing healthy meals and snacks for him
- organising fun and educational activities for him and taking him out on days out
- light child-related household tasks
- we occasionally work from home but will give you the space to take the lead
- there will be opportunity for additional paid hours by prior mutual agreement which may involve occasional evenings, weekends, special occasions (eg. Weddings) and occasional trips abroad

We are looking for someone who:
- is warm, caring and dependable
- has excellent experience with babies and young toddlers
- has an enhanced DBS check and is on the update service
- has paediatric first aid training
- has a full, clean driver’s license and own car
- childcare qualifications are welcomed but not essential (additional qualifications will be reflected in pay)

We will welcome a friendly preliminary phone call followed by an in person meeting to see if we are the right fit for each other. We will also ask for the relevant documents such as the DBS certificate, driving licence, relevant certificates and two references that we can call.

Please not currently we are only able to work with a nanny on a self employed basis.
