Babysitter Job In Christchurch
About Me
We are a family of four living in Christchurch. We are looking for a babysitter/buddy/life coach for our 10 year old (high functioning autistic) daughter Ellie.
She loves animals, art and craft and reading. She suffers with anxiety sometimes and needs a little support socially. She has a hard time at school so we are looking for a “buddy” but also someone fun who can help grow her confidence.
We would like someone fairly regular and reliable. We are flexible with times/days but are thinking maybe 2-3 hours every other weekend.
Ideally someone who can listen and help talk through social situations. Maybe take a trip to Christchurch library and swap books. Think up fun crafts to do together at my house whilst I take Ellies brother out to places that Ellie struggles to spend time at (noisy skate parks).

Good communication skills.
Reliable.
Preferably some Sen experience around anxiety and asd.
Ideally every other week 2-3 hours to build a good relationship. Either after school one evening or weekends or a combination.
