Wraparound care required for some nursery drop off and pick ups
About Me
I have a professional demanding job role which sometimes requires me to travel and is increasingly difficult to juggle around nursery hours as a solo mum. I’ve been passionate about doing the pick up and drop offs myself but realise having a couple of days where I can work a bit later will enable me to get to bed earlier once my son is asleep and generally make my days a little less complicated!
My Requirements
Dropping my son - a jolly almost two year old! - at nursery - a walk or cycle or bus ride from my house - at 8 am a couple of days a week and collecting at 5.30 pm one or two days a week and / or coming to mine and getting his tea sorted and maybe bathing him before I come in to get him to bed. Depending on your availability and skill set, there would be housekeeping to do for a couple of hours once he is dropped off. Potentially also an hour or so on a Friday or at the weekend so I can get out for a half hour run for example and occasional babysitting on a weekend evening once he is asleep. I am consistent about no screens please including TV and do not use my phone around him. I’ve been rather shocked by the number of parents I see on their phones with their children at parks etc from safety, social, emotional and developmental viewpoints so I’m afraid it’s a redline for me that anyone who helps with my son is present and not distracted please. He is a sunny and happy boy and very sociable.
