About Me

I am a registered childminder (Forest Wonders Childminding) based from my house in Upper Cwmbran. A home from home, calm, fun and stimulating environment. I have a rear enclosed garden, a front large open grass area and I am close to the local community farm.

I offer a variety of activities such as messy play, imaginative play, sensory play, art/craft, cooking/baking and small world play plus much more.

We go on an outing daily using the bus or walking to the park, the farm, the boating lake, the canal, the community farm. Pets at home, Cwmbran library and to fruit and vegetables stalls in Cwmbran town to choose ingredients for cooking.

My Experience

I have 12 years experience of working with children. I worked for Flying Start with children in playgroup for 6 years. I was the the room leader of baby room, I worked there for 4 years

My Qualifications

Cache Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education. Paediatric first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding. Aces and signalong.

My Availability

I have 3 days remaining which are full day spaces available for children age 18 months or over. I take children until age 5. My opening hours are 7:30am-17:30pm. Monday to Friday

I am not offering school or Nursery drop off / collection but I am open until 17:30pm

My Fees

  • Childminding from £6.50 per hour

A minimum of 8 hours required

Breakfast, morning snack and afternoon snack, cooking/baking activities and Greenmeadow community farm and any other outings we do are included in the fee

Parents to provide a healthy packed lunch, wet wipes, nappies and nappy cream.

I am open all year round. Except bank holidays and my own holidays
